Quick Rundown:
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Entry-Level Bookkeeper / Accounting Assistant to support day-to-day accounting and administrative operations. This role focuses on invoice coding and entry, processing work orders and corporate bill backs, auditing past-due vendor bills, and handling general administrative responsibilities. The ideal candidate is organized, accurate, and eager to grow in an accounting support role.
What You’ll Do:
Code and enter vendor bills accurately into the accounting system
Process work orders and corporate bill backs in a timely and accurate manner
Audit past-due bills received from vendors and verify charges, dates, and supporting documentation
Track invoices, payments, and outstanding balances to ensure records are up to date
Assist with resolving billing discrepancies in coordination with internal teams and vendors
Maintain organized accounting files and documentation (digital and physical)
Perform administrative duties related to accounting and operations, including data entry and record maintenance
Support additional accounting and administrative functions as assigned
What We’re Looking For:
Basic understanding of bookkeeping or accounting principles
Ability to code invoices and enter financial data accurately
Comfortable reviewing and auditing billing records for accuracy
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets
Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks or similar) is a plus
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred
Entry-level candidates or individuals with 1–2 years of bookkeeping, accounting, or administrative experience are encouraged to apply
